This blog will enlighten readers on why Java Snake Xenzia is a terrible game, despite it's 128x160 pixel graphics and ridiculously low file size. To start off, let’s take a look at what Java Snake Xenzia has to offer- 128x160 pixel graphics are not up to date by any means, especially with today’s technology standards. The snake moves from the bottom of the screen towards the top, and moves at a breakneck speed that is almost impossible to stop or slow down. The music in this game is incredibly difficult to listen to, and sounds like it was made in a Windows ’95 program. There are no discernible sounds for when you collect a fruit or pass a level, so there is no way to tell if you have successfully completed a level unless you have memorized it. This game makes no sense whatsoever- when you start the game you cannot see the snake itself because of how small it, but once you cross a fruit in your path, your snake will appear very suddenly and uncontrollably at speeds that can only be described as dangerous. There are no real rules to this game either, there are also no instructions or tips on how to play this game. Playing this game for too long is unhealthy for your sanity- it is not explained anywhere in the Java Snake Xenzia game how to pause it, restart, quit or exit out of the program. This game will also quite often glitch on the player- sometimes when you get hit by a fruit your snake will appear multiple times or appear in different places of the screen. This is incredibly disorienting and infuriating because it takes away any chances of successfully completing a level. At times, the fruit itself will stop moving which will either cause you to lose if you get hit by it, or get stuck in what seems like an endless loop of getting hit by the fruit that isn't moving. I am honestly shocked that the filesize of this game is so small- considering how many hours it must have taken to put this game together. I was also shocked at how inaccurate of a representation the game had for me personally- when I got a notification on my phone about downloading this app, I expected it to be much more developed and much more modern in terms of quality. The constant crashing and glitching on this game is too much to stand on its own- it really makes the already bad quality of the game, even worse. Unfortunately this game is not worth it’s low file size and terrible quality. Java Snake Xenzia does not deserve to be on the Play Store- I am not unfamilliar with software crashes and glitches, but this game completely tramples on your sanity and will make you want to no longer use your device afterwards.
